As a teenager, I was disillusioned within my Lutheran pastor's daughter upbringing, full of resentment, very defiant, rebellious, and also so sad, guilt-ridden and utterly disappointed in life, and myself. Many years later, I'm overjoyed to be able to revisit the Jesus stories and see them in the light that Joel offers, and even participate in my local church on a completely different level, that of seeking the Consciousness discussed here. I can say, "Glory hallelujah" and all the other praise-phrases without choking on that previous sense of emptiness. This is so Good!! Thank you!

To bad i missed this one Sean. And Lily, lol. I play the bass too. More before because I'm in an apt. now. And played drums. Self taught. Not bad for no lessons or not being able to read music at all. You don't look at it like it's humanhood to play music. I noticed i did way way better when ego wasn't present, then it'd pop in wondering how i did certain things on the drums. Plus the bass, spirit moved my bass when i was holding it. Anyway, you mentioned Lily of the Valley. That's funny cuz that was our favorite Asian food place to eat! Keep playing your bass Lily. Move your snowflake whatever way you want. Btw, Fred Davis (non- dual) has a video on why people keep seeking and seeking. Hopefully you're reading this Lily and Sean and company. 😊🙏
